DROWNING IN COAL MINE.
OFFICIALS FOUND BLAMELESS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GREYMOUTH. Saturday., A court of inquiry, under the Coal Mines Act, found that charges made against Blackball mine officials in regard to a recent double drowning fatality at Blackball mine were not sustained. The assessors were of opinion that a bettei scheme of "reporting inspections of the mine was desirable.
