FRENCH HERO OF THE AIR.
HIS LAST FIGHT FOUGHT. FIFTY-THREE FOES BEATEN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Rccd. 8.35 p.m.) PARIS, Sept. 27, Lieutenant Gnynemer. the famous airman, was lulled after bringing down his fifty-third aeroplane in French territory. An eye-witness of his last fight states that ho attacked five Albatross machines over the sea near Dunkirk. He brought down two before he himself fell.
