SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.
CONFERENCE DECISIONS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. A conference of the Second Division League was opened in Wellington to-day. The president, Mr. R. A. Armstrong, presided. The conference resolved to recommend an amendment in the league's constitution, providing for the setting up in each centre of an organisation to conserve the interests of all soldiers on active service and to act !n an advisory capacitv to and to assist all soldiers and their dependants in relation to the securing of pensions and allowances. It was decided that the age limit' of children for allowances should bo 17 years in the case of males and 20 rears in the case of females. The Pay and Pensions Committee recommended that the minimum pensions in case of death should be £2 2 3 for the wife without a child and £2 12s for the wife with a child or children and 10s 6d for each child. The - conference adjourned till tomorrow.
