The Premier, Mr. Lloyd George, proceeded to France on Monday, accompanied by Sir William Robertson, chief of the Imperial General Staff. He conferred with the Premier, M. Painleve, on Tuesday, visited Sir Douglas Haig at British headquarters, and returned to London on Wednesday evening.
