COUNCIL TO BE FORMED. CO-ORDINATING CONTROL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. ißocd. 1.20 a.m.) LONDON. August 21. Tho Press Bureau states that a Munitions Council on the lines of the-Admir-alty Council will be established. ■ It will co-ordinate tho work of 50 munitions departments, which will be classified in 10 croups, each group to bo represented on the Council. The Ministry now employs L-f.OCCOOO work people, with a headquarters staff of 13,500. It is hoped the establishment of a Council will result in economy and a fuller utilisation of resources.
