South American mutton is Quoted at lOd. and lamb at lid. i.In rabbits little business is beta* dose, as the trade is only receiving, small quantities of the damaged supplies.*'- The Govern--ment is keeping all sound supplies. The general impression in Tooley BJ Street is that the whole of the provision trade BS will soon be under control. K SOUTHERN STOCK SALES. M The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Ej Agency Company reports: — In At Palmerston North on Thursday only a HJ small yarding came forward, and sold at HJ late rates. Aged store cows, £3 15s to £4 HJ 10s- store cows. £6 5s to £8 9s; fat cows, HJ £9 10s to £10 15s; guaranteed dairy cows, §31 £9 10s to £13 ss. , , . Ej At Feilding. on Friday, we had a heavy g| yarding of sheep and a medium entry of HJ cattle. Sheep sold well, and there was a total f| clearance.
