LONDON, July 23.
Mr. Kennedy Jones, who has resigned the position of Director-General of the Food Economy Department, claims that the consumption of bread and flour has been reduced by one-third since March.
MEAT PRICES IN BRITAIN.
REGULATION ANNOUNCED. (Received 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 23.
In the House of Commons the Minister in Charge of Food Control .announced that from September 1 the maximum prices of meat would be fixed, and the operations of all meat firms controlled.
GERMAN BREAD RATIONS.
INCREASE NEXT MONTH.

LONDON. July 23.
An official statement issued in Berlin states that bread rations will be increased by one pound weekly next month.
