NEW PLYMOUTH. Tuesday. A tofth named Roy Loder. 18 rear* of age. accidentally shot himself at Harford Road on Sunday. At the inquest to-dav a companion of the deceased said that after he had instructed Loder how to use a gun they separated. On returning the deceased pot through a wire fence, and apparently had been .pulling the gun through after him when it exploded," the charge penetrating the heart. The coroner, in recording the verdict suggested that boys should receive instruction at school as to the handling of firearms, and also in boating and swimming, especially floating, as well as being impressed with the danger of handling electric wires.
