CHANGES OF ADDRESS.
CHARGES AGAINST RESERVISTS
Two reservists, whose explanations regarding their enrolment certificates had not been considered satisfactory by the police, appeared before Mr. F. V. Frazer S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Frederick Williams was charged with failing to notify his change of address from Whangarei to Te Kuiti Sub-Inspec-tor Broberg stated that when questioned by ,i constable defendant said he had filled in the enrolment form two years ago, but was not certain that he had posted it. He admitted not notifying his change of address. A remand "was required to ascertain if he had enrolled Defendant was remanded until July 27. With respect to Thomas Carney, charged with vagrancy, the sub-inspector said the man told a constable who a-sked for his certificate that it had been left in a pair of trousers that he had pawned. This was found to be correct, but a remand was desired to see whether he had notified various changes of address. lie was remanded to Monday.
