Thomas Allen, a seaman, who was found asleep in the Taupo Timber Company's yards at Newmarket on Tuesday night, was convicted of being on premises without lawful excuse, and ordered to come up for sentence when ' called upon. A second offender for drunkenness Thomas Heatherington, was fined 10s. in default 48 hours' imprisonment. Fines were inflicted on three first offenders. For committing a breach of the terms of their prohibition orders, Percy Humphries was fined £2 and 7s costs, and John H. Heron £1 and 7s costs.
