Owing to lack of orders, 1200 employees of the Colonial Ammunition Company have been discharged MELBOURNE. July 18. The Trades Hall Council states that there are 5800 unemployed unionists in .Melbourne. COAL MINES IDLE. SYDNEY, July 18. Six coal mines in Newcastle and three on the south coast have been rendered idle by strikes. RED TRIANGLE FUND. (Received 1.10 a.m.) SYDNEY. July 18. Contributions to the Red Triangle Fund are still being received. The sum of £50,000 was asked for and £144,000 has been received to date. RESTRICTION OP SPORTS. (H»ceiv«d 1.10 a.m.) SYDNEY. July 18.
