SIR E. CARSON IN CABINET.

POST FOR MR. CHURCHILL.

Australian and N.Z. Cable and Renter. (Received 12.5 a.m.) LONDON, July 17. The following changes in the Ministry have been officially announced :— Sir Edward Carson to be a member of the War Cabinet without portfolio. Sir Eric C. Geddes, Controller of the Navy, to be First Lord of the Admiralty. Mr. Winston Churchill to be Minister for Munitions.

Dr. C. Addison, Minister for Munitions, to be Minister for After War Reconstruction, without portfolio.

Mr. E. £. Montagu, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, to be Secretary of Stale for India.
