GREECE PREPARING TO PUT TROOPS IN THE FIELD.
TEN DIVISIONS WITHIN THREE MONTHS.
NEGOTIATIONS WITH ITALY FOR EVACUATION .OF EPIRUS. Australian and N.Z. Cable (Received 11 p.m.) ROME, July 11. M. Jonnart, who has been acting as the allies' High Commissioner to Greece, has passed through on his way to Paris. He states that M. Venizelos expects to be able to put ten Greek divisions in the field within three months.
Eeuter - LONDON. July 11. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr. A. J. Balfour, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, said negotiations between Greece and Italy with a view to the Italians evacuating Epirus were progressing.
, ATHENS, July 11. One hundred soldiers under a sergeant-major at Tripolis, in Southern Greece, revolted, seized arms and munitions and the regimental depot. There was a sharp skirmish and 50 rebels were captured. The rest fled.
