TWELVE MONTHS' FIGURES.

INCREASE IN DAIRYING. The increase in the butter and cheese production in the Auckland Province is illustrated by the figures supplied by the Auckland. Farmers Freezing Company showing receipts into store and exports during the past 12 months. During the month of June just closed 5830 boxes of butter were received into the company's stores, as compared with 5030 in June last year. The receipts for the past 12 months totalled 570,683 boxes, as against 517,920 boxes for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 52,763 boxes. The butter exported from Auckland through the company last month totalled 2237 boxes, as against 11,673 boxes in June, 1916. Details of the exports for the past 12 months are as follows, the figures for the corresponding period in 1915-1916 being given in parentheses — Boxes. Boxes. During June last the company received 3032 crates of cheese into store, as compared with 1539 crates in June, 1916. The amount of cheese received during the past 12 months totalled 106,132 crates, as against 66,409 in the corresponding period of 1915-1916, an increase of 39,723 crates. The cheese exports last month totalled 3100 crates, as against 2700 in June, 1916. The exports for the 12 months totalled 83,211 crates, as against 60,200 crates for the previous 12 months, an increase of 23,011 crates. SHIPMENTS OF MEAT. DECREASE FOR THE SEASON. The returns of frozen meat exported from Auckland through the Farmers Freezing Company last month show that 342,1271b were shipped, as compared with 1,215,8551b in June, 1916.
