BOND.—On June 13, 1917, killed in action in France, Corporal Rupert James Bond, M.M.. New Zealand Field Artillery, fourth son of S. Bond, Lower Symonds Street; aged 25 years. Wo loved him so much. ELVTN.— June 14, 1917. killed in action in France, Harry, dearly-loved only son ni F. J. and A. L. blvin. of Makarau; aged 23 years. We miss him so when the. dim sunlight Proclaims the dawn of day; And the dreams we had of him at night Like shadows pass away; ~•_., And we strive in va\n to stay their flight, Alas! they are gone for aye. FLOWER.—On June 7, killed in action in France Rifleman Harold Ralph Flower, eldest; "on of H. E. and E. L. Flower, Vlouerda'e, Manngatnroto ; in his 21st year. —Dearly loved and deeply resetted. His duly nobly done in the causo of liberty, justice, and truth. KNIGHT.—On Juno 9, died of wounds in France. Archibald Phillip Knight, dearlybeloved youngest son of Charles James and Lucy May Knight, of Boston Road, Mount Eden: aged 20 years. — Deeply regretted. SIMMONS. KiIIed in action somewhere In France. Private William Henry Roy, son c; the late W. 11. Simmons and Mrs. J. Auckram, Pussell Road, Manurewa, grandson of Mrs. J. Brady, Otahuhu; aged 23 years. SMITH—On Juno 7. 1917, killed inaction at Messines, France. Private John Smith, dearly-beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Smith. Cornwallis, and brother of Mrs. E, Pearce, Mount Smart Road, Onehunga. WRIGHT.—On June 7, 1917, killed in notion in France. Lance-Corporal John Claude Wright, beloved younger son of Elizabeth and the late John 'Wright, of St. Heliera Bay; aged 25 years.
