The High Commissioner's market report is as follows (quotations unless otherwise stated being average market quotations on spot): — _ Meat: All descriptions of frozen meat are m active demand, owing to short supplies. New Zealand mutton. Argentine mutton, and Argentine lamb are very scarce. For New Zealand lamb the demand is in excess of supply; New Zealand mutton is Sid, eve mutton. BJd: Argentine mutton. 10d • N.Z. lamb. 10d; Argentine lamb, lid. No supplies of New Zealand beef are available. tor Argentine beef, prices are lower, owing to increasing supplies. Hinds are quoted at 12d, fores 9ld. Butter: The market is firm, and prices ere higher. Quotations: Danish, 206s to 208sNew .
