MASSACRE OF ARMENIANS

I Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. [ (Received 1.30 a.m.). LONDON, Juno 21. Mr. E. Candler, correspondent with the British forces in Mesopotamia, cabling from Bagdad, say's the British Government is caring for the Armenian survivors of the massacres. Womeni, describing the horrors, say there were endless marches through the desert The Turks daily separated hundreds of men, took them a short distance, and either shot them or cut them down with swords. Frequently men were killed with sticks, stones, daggers, or knives. Many women were pushed into the river or thrust over precipices. Out of 1200 from two villages. 400 women and girls survived. The Turks spared no males over nine years of age.
