The 547 th casualty list was issued yesterday by tho Defence Department, and circulated by tho Press Association. It gives particulars of two men who liavo died of wounds and of ono who has succumbed to disease. Four men aro reported wounded, ono slightly. Details are:— DI ED OF WOUNDS. Willoughby, Robert John. SOLDIER'S FATAL ACCIDENT. DEATH WHILE ON LEAVE. [BY TELEOHAI'H. OWN* COIUIESPOKDEXT.] HAMILTON, Wednesday. A trooper named John Chambers, a member of the twenty-third reinforcements, who fell while alighting from a train at Frankton Junction yesterday morning, died at the Waikato Hospital to-day from the injuries he. received. An inquest was opened and then adjourned. The deceased will bo accorded a military funeral. * . \ RETURNED SOLDIER'S DEATH. A returned soldier, Lance-Corporal Peter Solomon, aged 24 years, succumbed i to an internal complaint at tho Auckland I Hospital on Tuesday night. The relatives of the deceased, who only returned to the Dominion on March 5, all reside at tho Cook Islands. The remains will be buried with military, honours at tho Waikumeto Cemetery at 11 a-m. to-day. MEN WHO HAVE FALLEN. RIFLEMAN W. NICHOLSON. ' Rifleman William Nicholson, lately ■ killed in action, was tho second son of Mr. R. Nicholson, of Mercury Bay, that has fallen in the war, his brother, J. A. j Nicholson, having -been killed on December 27. Rifleman W. Nicholson left New | Zealand in May, 1916, For eight years prior to his enlistment ho was in tho employment of the Kauri Timber Company. I RIFLEMAN C. A. COGLAN. Advice has been received by Mr. A. Coghlan, of Mangere, that his son, Rifleman Clarenco A. Coghlan, Rifle Brigade, has received shrapnel wounds in the face and head. His wounds are not serious, and he is remaining with his unit. I BOMBARDIER B. HENDERSON. Advice has been received by Miss Maggio Knight, an Aucklander, who is a ' member of the Florence Rockwell Company, that her son, Bombardier Bruce Henderson, has been severely wounded in France, and is in hospital in London. Ho has been at tho front for over two years. He is a grandson of the founder of tho firm of Henderson and McFarlaue, and tho l old Circular Saw shipping line. 6 PRIVATE N. FAITHFUL!, Private Norman Faithfnll. reported missing, is the eldest son of Mr. Norman Faithfull, of Bay of Islands, i Ho left New Zealand in January, 1916,1 and was wounded at tho Sommo on September 15. Previous to enlisting he was engaged in the timber trade. Private Faithfull is 23 years old. SIGNALLER F. A. CAMPBELL. Signaller Finlay Augustus Campbell, who lately died of meningitis in a French hospital, shortly after having been .wounded on tho Somme, was a son of Mrs. Camphell, of Matangi, and 24 years of age. lie completed his education at tho Auek-' land Grammar School, and was afterwards on tho staffs of the Auckland Star and Stratford Post. Immediately prior to his enlistment he was managing his mother's farm.'
