WAIKATO RECIPIENT. [BT TELEGR.U'II.OWN" CORESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. Private advice has been received that' Lance-Corporal J. H. Edgecumbe, the youngest son of Mr. George Edgecumbe, of Frankton. was awarded the Military Medal. Tlio recipient was studying architecture in London when the war broke out. and joined the Royal Engineers. He has seen much service in France.
