AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD.

NOMINATIONS FOR ELECTIONS. In response to a requisition containing 36 signatures, representing practically every shipping company doing business at the poTt, Mr. H. D, Heather and Mr. W. B. Leyland, the two present representatives on the Harbour Board of the payers of dues on shipping, yesterday agreed to allow themselves to be nominated for tho election which takes place on April 25. Mr, W. E. Hutchison, the present representative of the district which embodies Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Albert, New Lynn, and Point Chevalier, has also decided to again accept nomination. Mr. Hutchison has been a member of the board for 12 years, for six of which ho has acted as demity.chairman.
