"MYSTERY BOX" OPENED.

BERNSTORFF'S LUGGAGE. A. and N.Z. Cable. LONDON, .March 28.

The Bernstorff " mystery box" was opened at the Foreign Office in the presence of the Swedish Minister to-day. Information as to the nature of its contents is not available.

When Count Bernstorff and his entourage were searched at Halifax, Nova Scotia, before crossing tho Atlantic to return to Germany a box which was directed to a 'Swedish official aroused some interest, and a mysterious silence was maintained when tho searchers sought to ascertain its contents. Accordingly the box was sealed and was sent to the British Foreign Office in London, to bo opened in the presence of tho Swedish Minister.
