Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council, hold on FRIDAY, the sixteenth day of March. 1917, the 'following resolution wao passed, and will bo submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on THURSDAY, the nineteenth day of April. 1917, at 7 o'clock p.m.. in the. Council Chamber. Town Hall. Queen' Street, viz.: — v . That the Auckland City Council doth hereby, by special resolution intended to operate a3 a Special Order, make the following By-law, to .10 known as By-law " No. 3,!' viz.: — AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL. BY-LAWS No. 3. BY-LAWS OF THE AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL, MADE IN PURSUANCE OF THE POWERS AND PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN "TOE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1908." "THE GREY LYNN DOMAIN VESTING ACT, 1909." "THE PUBLIC DO?'AINS ACT. 1903." AND IN PURSUANCE OF ALL AND EVERY THE OTHER POWERS IX THAT BEHALF CONTAINED IN ANY OTHER ACT ENABLING THE SAID COUNCIL IN THAT BEHALF. 1. The By-law made by the Auckland City 1 Council on the 18th day of ay. 1916. and known as By-laws No. 27, are from and immediately after the date on which these Bylaws shall come into , operation repealed, but shall notwithstanding remain in full force so far only as relates to 'any offend committed, penalty incurred, prosecution or proceedings, commenced, license issued or notice, given under or against any of the • provisions thereof before coming into force of this By-law and in substitution and lieu thereof the said 'City Council hereby by special order makes and ordains this By-law. 2.
