Governor Jean. - Norwegian: Staut. It is announced that the St. Theodore, of 4992 tons—previously cabled as the Defeddig— was sunk. Some of the above-named vessels have been uninsurable foi- weeks; others recently sailed. The Pihodantho was owned by the London Marine S.S., Ltd., and was built in 1902 at West Hartlepool. .. ■■' ■ The Esmeraldas, which was owned by the Pacific Steam Navigation Company, was built at Sunderland in 1906.
