' „„__, It. B. SMITH, Inspector. Wellington, 3rd March, 1917. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO RETAIL GROCERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. We aro still receiving many letters complaining that Bycroft'B " Snowdrift " is unobtainable at some groceries in town and country. Many of these corrcsixmdents ask us to forward them the flour direct, but. of course, we do not supply retail orders, and in every case wo refer the letter and order to a retailor in the writer's locality, who is then only too pleased to get in a stock of " SNOWDRIFT." Some retailers appear to be in a groove, and they don't seem to bo able to got out of it of their own volition. They don't mind being pushed out; in fact they rather onjoy it—it saves such a lot of effort on their part. Those peoplo who want " SNOWDRIFT " Flour and find a difficulty in getting it should therefore refuse to take a substitute, which is euro to he pressed upon thorn by grocers in a groove. If such people will ' quietly, but very (irmly, INSIST upon getting Bycroft's " SNOWDRIFT " they will have tho satisfaction of killing two birds with one stone—i.e., they will be doing a good turn to the grocer, while at tlio same time getting a bettor article, for themselves. Bycroft's "Snowdrift" IS different, »nd as much better as it is different. You have only to try it to find out the. difference. You will notice it immediately you do any baking. Tho first batch of sconos or whatever you are baking will be so different .•V3 to convince you that the flour has SUCH a lot to do with your success as a cook. Your cooking may have been all right in the ptist or it may not, but just you try the " SNOWDRIFT " way noxt timo, and you will soon roaliso that you can DO IT BETTER. When you are giving your next grocery order do not simply ask for flour; ask for BYCROFT'S "SNOWDRIFT" "The Flour that IS Different." To give you an idea of the popularity of " Snowdrift " Flour in this district alone it may interest you to know that it would take 20.000 acres of first-class land growing good averago crops of the highest grades of wheal to keep Bycroft's " Snowdrift " Flour Mill supplied for ono year at the present output.
