AUTUMN MEETING CONCLUDED.

DUNEDIN, Saturday. The Dunedin Jockey Club's autumn meeting was concluded to-day. Showers fell intermittently, but there was a good attendance. The totaiisator receipts amounted to £2-2,472 Ills, against £24,0-19 10s for the same day last year, and the Government tax totalled £635 lis 6d. The total investments for the meeting amounted to £56,530, against £60,688 10a last year. Results:— OWHIRO HURDLES of 150aovs, one mile and a-half.—l, Plymouth, list 61b (McSeveney), 1; 2, Peerless, lOst 10lb, 2; 6, Golden Rupee, 9st, 3. Also started; 8, Bore, list slb; 6, St. Curio, lOst 91b: 4, Glonthorpe, 9st 13lb; 7, Hatana, car. 9st Glib; 8, Park-water, car. lOst lilb; 9, Mount Victoria, 9st. At the home turn Plymouth assumed the lead and was never troubled, winning by three lengths. Peerless was four lengths ahead of Golden Rupee Time, 2m 49 3-ss. FLYING HANDICAP of 250sovs. si* furlongs.— Oxenhope, 9st 131b (P. E. Jones), 1; 7. Robert Bell, Bst 4lb, 2; 3, Sir Malt, 7st 01b, 3. Also started: 1, Samisen, Ost 12lb; 1, Furlong, 7at 6lb; 4, Mam, Bst 6lb; 6, Clynclish. Sat Bib; 6, Palisade, 7st 131b • 8, Mi&3 Finland, 6st 7lb. Palisade was the first to show out from Furlong and Sir Malt. Samisen headed Six Malt and Robert 801 l entering the straight, Furlong having a rocky passage inside. At the distance Oxenhope made an effort and won comfortably by a length and a-half, a length Separating second and third. Time, lm 15 l-ss. Don Pacifico was first to show j m front, and was leading at the back from I Placid. Sylva, and Kilbrogan. At the bottom of the stretch Sylva dropped back, and Kilbrogan took second plao). Entering the straight Don Pacifico was in command from Plaud, and finished well, winning by a length:' Kilbrogan beat Placid by a short length. Time, lm 30 l-ss. The field raced away in a bunch from it" good start. At the first turn Daytime took charge from Margarino and Snub. At the mile post _ Daytime was two lengths ahead of Margarine. At the six-furlong post Adjutant closed with the loaders. Approaching the distance Adjutant Bhot to the front and won by. three lengths, two lengths separating second and third. Time, 2m 7. 2-Bs. HOPEFUL HANDICAP of loOsovs, five furlongs.—3, Kilfinn, 7st lllb (R. C. Reed), 1; 1, Gamecock, Ost 61b, 2; 8, Kilrush, Bst 31b, 8. Also started; 2, Ample, 9st fill';. 4. Trentham Rose, 7at 81b; 5, Rokelaine, 7st 81b. Rokelaine was left at the post. I'rentham Rose and Kilrush led from the break. Gamecock ran wide at the horns turn and Kilfinn took charge and managed to stay long enough just to beat Gamecock. Time, lm 3 l-08, ABBOTSFORD WELTER of 175sovs, seven furlongs.— Mohawk. 9st Sib (A. McKay) and 4, Sir Tarka, Bst 10lb (Jones), dead heat, 1: 5, Jeannot, Bst 101b. 2. Also started: 1, Kazan, Bst 131b; 6, Glensponae, Bst 9lb; 5, Yes, Bst 61b: 7, Partisan, Bst Jib; 11, Vocation, 7st 7lb; 10, Ogier, 7st 7ib; 8. Lady Trent, 7st 7lb; 12, Baritone, 7at 7lb; 9, Quirinuß, 7st 7lb. Mohawk shot out at the barrier rise and assumed command, Baritone being left at the post. Lady Trent and Yes overhauled the leader within a furlong. At the turn the field cloßod up, and at the distance Mohawk cape again, and he and Sir Tarka after a keen finish ran a dead heat. Jeannot was three lengths back. Time, lm 29a. WAIHOLA HANDICAP of 120sovs, sis furlongs.—s, White King, 7st 13lb (Hewitt), 1: 15, Pclonius, 7st 7lb, 2; 9, Helicon, 7st 7lb, 3. Finless broke the line from Lady Superior, Beneficence and Helicon. Finless led to the straight, where Helicon wont in front. Inside the distance White King came with a rush and won by a short neck.
