She is due to arrive here on Friday, and is timed to sail for the South at 2 m. on Saturday. The Kara is due at Onehunga this morning with a cargo of coal from Greymouth. On completion of dischargo she will return to Greymouth. Tho Melbourne Steamship Company's steamer Perth is exr*cted to complete discharging operations, and to sail to-day for Mercury Bay and Whangarei to load a cargo of timber for Melbourne. THE MONOWAI. The Monowai arrived fiom Southorn ports at an early hour yesterday mornmt, and berthed at the King's Wharf to land a number of passengers and a quantity of gjj;ertl cargo. All the way from Gisbcrae a stron? west-south-west gale was experienced, which delayed the vessel about 7 hours. The Monowat nails to-nieht for Wellington, Lyttelton, and possibly Napier.
