Manaia, for Whang -rei, at 10 p.m. Waiotahi, for Coromandel, at 3 p.m. Waimarie, for Paeroa, at midnight. Waipu, for Cabbage Bay, at 10 a.m. .The Kamo was loading chaff at Pictoa yesterday for Onehunga. The Wanaka is expected to arrive from Fiji early next week with a cargo of raw 3 sugar for the Chelsea Works. The ketch Coronation was placed on tho patent slip for overhaul yesterday. Tho Kurow, with a full cargo of coal from Newcastle , for Auckland, passed Cape Maria Van Diemen at 11 ton. yesterday. She should arrive about 1 p.m. to-day. The Union Company's large cargo carrier Waitomo, from Calcutta, via Bunbury, is expected to arrive at Wellington on January 20. Mr. C. G. Neale, who has been chief officer of the Riverina for some time, has been appointed master of the Moorabol. Holders of bills of lading are requested to communicate with the Union S.S. Co. with reference to delivery of cargo ex s.s. Cunene; late s.s. Adelaide, The Whangapo will complete discharging her cargo of raw sugar at Chelsea to-day, and will go into dock to-morrow. The Rakanoa, en route from Sydney to Auckland, passed Cape Maria. Van Diemen at 9 a.m. yesterday. She has general cargo to discharge at the QueeA's Wharf, after which she goes to Chelsea w> put out her cargo of coal. , , THE ABAHURA. The Arahura, with passengers and cargo from Gisborne and Napier, is due to arrive about 10 o'clock this morning. oho will berth at the Queen's Wharf and will sail on the return voyage at 2 p.m. to-morrow. THE TARAWERA. The Tarawerp, from Dunedin, via ports, arrived yesterday morning with passengers and cargo, and berthed -at the yueen's Wharf. Her departure for Dunedm, via ports, has been postponed until 11 p.m. tomorrow. FIRE ON THE WAIKAWA. Particulars of the outbreak of fire on the Union Company's steamer Waikawa while at Vancouver were received by the last Canadian mail. According to the account, 100 tons of copra and 4000 cases of salmon were damaged. The fire broke out os the evening of November 10, The fire • was located in the after 'tween-deck, where the copra, whioh was consigned to San Francisco, was stowed. Assistanoel was obtained from the fire brigade, the hold being flooded. —————————— t
