He is staying at the Central Hotel. Major C. H. Wheeler, N.Z.M.C, medical officer in charge of a transport, is spend- - ing three weeks' furlough at his home at Devonport. Mr. J. Maughan Barnett has resigned . the office of conductor to the Auckland Choral Society. The committee of the ! society has decided to invite Mr. Colin : Muston to accept the position. j Mr. D. W.
