EVACUATION OF BUCHAREST DELAYED TO THE LAST.
ROUMANIANS RETIRING TO PREPARE POSITIONS. RUSSIANS CONCENTRATING TO AID THEM. A. and N.Z. »nd Renter. (Received 12.30 a.m.) ROME, Dec. 8. Petrograd reports show that the abandonment of Bucharest was delayed as long as possible in order to save artillery, supplies, provisions, and munitions. The Roumanian Army is still considered to be intact, and is retiring to prearranged positions; where the Russians are concentrating.
