(Received 11.5 p.m.) LAS TALMAS, Dec 8 The steamer Pio IX. foundered in a storm. Thirty-nine of the crew are missing.
The Pio IX. was a Spanish steamer 0 f 3895 tons, built, at Sunderland and regial tered at Cadiz. °
