CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FUND.

GARDEN' FETE AT CIXTRA TO-DAY

The Women's Mutual Aid Society has for some time past been busy organising a garden party and fete in aid of the Children's Hospital Fund, which will be opened this afternoon at Cirtra, Symonds Street, l>y the Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson. The beautiful grounds have been furnished with stalls and side shows, and the goods for sale will include produce, flowers, sweets, fancy work, and home-made dainties. An entertainment will be given in the evening, to which a number of wellknown performers will contribute. There will also be an exhibition of dancing by Miss Daphne Knight's pupils.
