CHARGE AGAINST TCWN CLERK.

[BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. The town clerk at Upper Hntt, James Allen Webster, was arrested to-day on a charge of having stolen £100, the property of the Upper Hutt Town Board. He was remanded for a week, bail being allowed. A detective informed the Conrt that other charges probably would be made against accused.
