DEATHS OF TWO SOLDIERS.

CEREBRO-SPINAL MENINGITIS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. A member of B Company, twenty-first reinforcements, Private John W. Coupe, died at Trentham Military Hospital this morning from cerebro-spinal meningitis. His parents reside at Te Kiri, Taranaki. Private James Carradus, of the same company, died this afternoon, also from meningitis. Carradus was a married man, &nd the address of his next of kin is Patea.

Surgeon-General Henderson states that the recent changeable weather increase the number of influenza cases, but all patients in hospital under treatment were progressing favourably. No fresh cases of spinal meningitis had been reported.
