ROUMANIAN SUCCESSES AT SEVERAL POINTS.
GERMAN COUNT OF PRISONERS NOW NINE THOUSAND. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON*. Oct. 31. A Roumanian communique states "We occupied Mount Rosea and repulsed attacks in the Prahova Valley and in the region of Dragoslavele, soutr of PredeaL We continue the pursuit of the enemy in the Jiu; Valley." A German communique states: "Fighting is proceeding amid the mists and snowstorms of Transylvania. The Roumanians failed to recapture the heights north of Orsova Since October 10 General Falkenhayn has captured 161 officers and 8920 men and 37 guns."
