ALLEGED WRONGFUL CONVERSION'.

[by telegraph.—rßEss association.] CHRISTCHTJRCH. Tuesday. At the S.M. Court to-day before Mr. H. W. Bishop. S.M., George Berry Ritchie, solicitor, of Christchurch, was brought up on 3 charee of converting trust funds to his own use, viz., the sum of £358 16? Bd. part of a trust created under the will of Diedrich Kruse. who died in 1805. The chief detective stated there were other charges pending, and it was expected niat the alleged deficiency would reach the sum of £3000. Accused was remanded and admitted to bail, himself in £500 and two sureties of £250 each.
