REDUCTION IN DRINKING.
CONDITIONS IN BRITAIN. Times- LONDON. Oct. 27. In the House of Commons, Mr. E. S. Montagu, Minister for Munitions, defending the Liquor Board's administration, said that in half a year the consumption of spirits had been reduced from 15,000,000 to 8,000,000 gallons, and of beer by 2,000,000 gallon*.
