INSPECTION OF CADETS.

MAJOR SLEEMAFS TOUR. Major J. L. Sleeman, LG-S., director of military training, made a tour of inspection of the secondary school senior cadet companies yesterday. He first visited the Technical College, Auckland Grammar School and King's College, and at each place delivered a lecture to the noncommissioned officers and inspected all ranks on parade. Major Sleeman expressed himself a3 pleased with the drill of the various companies- He also visited the annexe at the district hospital. He was taken on the tour of inspection by an officer of tho Motor Service Corps. Major Sleeman, accompanied by Colonel G. W. S. Patterson, 0.C.D., and Captain G. C. S. Dyer, A.A.G., left by steamer last, evening for Whangarei, where he will inspect tho local senior cadet companies.
