FARMERS' UNION CLUB.

The Auckland Provincial Farmers' Union will remove from Albert Street into its new premises in Fort Street in the course of a few weeks. It has been suggested that with the greater amount of space which will then be available, a farmers' club should be established, with a read-ing-room and other conveniences. The union has a sum of about £130, which was presented to it by a committee of ladies, in recognition of the services of the farmers in connection with the strike of 1913, and it has been proposed that this sum should be devoted to the club scheme.
