HOLLWEG'S MODERATION, CRISIS APPROACHING. Routor. AMSTERDAM. Sept. 24, A great political crisis is slowly developing in Germany. There is no doubt that the pan-Germans are doing their utmost to overthrow the Chancellor. The crisis is the sequel to the publication of correspondence between Admiral von Tirpitz and Dr. von Bethmann-Hollweg, showing that the latter opposed the ruthless submarine warfare favoured by the pan-Germans. BRITISH STEAMER SEIZED. A. and N.Z. Cable, AMSTERDAM, Sept. 2d. The Germans have captured the British steamer Colchester, 1209 tons, and taken her to Zeebrugge. GRIMSBY TRAWLERS SUNK. STEAMER DESTROYED. (Received 10.35 p.m.) Router. LONDON. September 25. Twelve Grimsby trawlers have been sunk by submarines in the North Sea- The crews were saved. The British steamer Pearl is reported to have been sunk.
