WAGES IN SUGAR INDUSTRY
GROWERS STOP HARVEST. A. and X.Z. Cable. BRISBANE, Sept. 18. A meeting of sugargrowcrs in tho Bundaberg district decided not to harvest the cane until the recent award, which gave a large increase in the employees,' wages, be suspended- As the award has already been gazetted, Government intervention in the situation is precluded.
