CLAIMS OF THE ENEMY. VICTORY IN DOBRUDJA. A. ana N.Z. Cnblc. COPENHAGEN. Sept. 16. A German communique states: "The Roumanians in Transylvania crossed the River Aluta above Fogaras, 40 miles east of Hermannstadt. We captured Roumanian positions south-east of Katszey. Decisive victory crowned our clever and energetically-conducted operations in Dobrudja. We are pursuing the defeated Russians and Boumanians." BULGARIAN STATEMENT. HEAVY LOSSES INFLICTED. AMSTERDAM. September 16.
A Bulgarian communique says: "The battle at Dobrudja began on the old Roumanian frontier. The enemy was driven back with heavy losses."
