THE KING COUNTRY MURDER
TRIAL OF ACCUSED POSTPONED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Saturday. The case of Toeta Kai Nuku, the Rarotongan native who is charged with the murder of Kenneth Livingstone, a shepherd, near Tiroa, in the King Country, and other serious crimes, was mentioned at the Hamilton Supreme Court to-day by the Crown Prosecutor, Mr. H. T. Gillies, who asked that the trial be adjourned until tho next sittings of the Court. His Honor Mr. Justice Cooper granted the application, and the trial will, therefore, take place in Hamilton either in February or March. The accused is at present an inmate of tho Avondale Mental Asylum.
