TWENTY-FIRST DRAFT. PROBABILITY OF SHORTAGE. APPEAL FOR MORE MEN. Owing to the call for men to fill the district's shortage in the twentieth reinforcement/ draft, the local recruiting officers are faced with the probability of a shortage in the twenty-first draft, which is due to leave Auckland for camp on September 19. As there are many enrolments for the October, November and December drafts the recruiting officers now appeal to some of these to volunteer for the September draft. Others who have not yet enrolled will, if they so desire on enrolment, be despatched to camp this month.
