BASKETBALL.
PRESENTATION OF MEDAL.
A pleasing ceremony was held at tin Normal School on Saturday afternoon a tor the usual basketball practices, when a ballot waa taken by tho Kiwi Club for the ownership of a modal. This handsome trophy W« presented by Mr. A. E. Jaggs, president.of tho club, to the best all-round player during tho 1916 season. The ballot resulted in favour of Miss Bertha Mcnzies, who has mm captain of the Kiwi senior team for the UH two of the three years that this team his hold the championship shield of the Auckland Basketball Association. Alter the presentation of the medal hearty applauin wis Riven for Miss Menzios and for Mr, Jasr> Miss R. Mahon acted as scrutineer.
