BULGARIAN KING IN CELLAR A. and N.Z. Cable. BERNE. September 4.
King Ferdinand of Bulgaria takes refuge, every night in the cellars of his palace at Sofia. He is terrified at the possibility of a bombardment by Roumanian aeroplanes. The palace ■ cellars are luxuriously furnished. The floor immediately above has been specially strengthened with steel plates, and is bombproof.
