LONDON. August 21

In the House of Lords yesterday Lord Islington stated that tho Indian Government was dissatisfied with Major-General Shaw, of Aden, and ho was transferred to a lesser command at Karachi, in North-west India, and had now been removed because lie participated in tho responsibility for the recent troop train disaster.

Brigadier-General Aylmer had been transferred on military grounds becauso lie was too old, and because of the arduousness of campaigning in unhealthy Mesopotamia.
