September 3. The Athens correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that King Constantine has expressed his belief in the expediency of Greece abandoning neutrality. Saturday was the eventful day. « The political situation is moving towards a satisfactory solution. Both sides have tacitly agreed to give support to M. Zaimis's Cabinet, which will thus cease to be merely an interregnum Cabinet, and become a political Cabinet enjoying the full confidence of tho Crown and the complete support of the Venizelist party. M. Venizelos, equally with Constantine, approves of tho abandonment of neutrality. Desiring the welfare of the country before place and power, M. Venizelos is prepared to sink self in order to achieve the realisation of the policy for which he has long been striving. The correspondent adds: "We may look before long to see the last Balkan State fighting on the side of the allies, moved by the prevailing spirit of unrest."
