Produce affected beneficially by v ... - seditions, or a uniform graduated •• .me tax for the present excess profits '.i On the motion of Mr. J. H. Da . -es, it was agreed to ask the Manuka-.' Yacht and Motor-boat Club to inaugurate a week-end excursion next summer * to Waiuku, to give leading citizens of Auckland and district an opportunity to view the proposed route of the " Manuka a Canal. The resolution was supported by Mr. J. Park, president of the club, and adopted. Mr. Wynyard reported that the Prima Minister had promised to give careful consideration during the recess to the question of the revival of the canal coin-, mission.
