ENEMY'S ACCOUNT OF THE EASTERN FIGHTING.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON August 15. A German communique states : " All the Russian attacks south of Brody failed. General von Bothmer repulsed strong attacks at Zborov and Konichy, west of Monasterisk." An Austrian communique states: "Our battalions southwards of Tartaren withdrew to Tartaren Pass before superior Russian forces We repulsed six massed attacks near Horozanka."
