ANOTHER ZEPPELIN RAID ON ENGLAND.

AIRSHIPS REPORTED OVER THE EASTERN COUNTIES. ONE OF THE RAIDERS BADLY DAMAGED. Australian and N.Z. Crib. (Beoriwd 7.30 p.m.) LONDON. August 3. The War Office states that airships crossed the Eastern Counties and the coast shortly after midnight on Wednesday. Their objective has not been ascertained, as the raid is still proceeding. Bombs were dropped at various places. Six or seven Zeppelins participated in the raid. No military damage has been reported. At least one airship was hit, and was seen travelling seaward badly damaged. Many anti-aircraft guns were in action.
